Day 1

Lunch in the city centre of Bruges.
Meeting with the guide
Visit Bruges; the romantic canals, medieval buildings and many churches and cathedrals. We will see a.o. the marvelous market square, city hall, the belfry and its halls. The city center is car free, so most of this tour will be done on foot.
The boat trip on the canals (‘Reien’) picturesque Bruges, you can admire the most beautiful places in the city from a completely different angle.

Day 2

Departure to the Netherlands, crossing the islands of the ‘Zeeland’ province.
Veere is one of the most surprising places in Zeeland. A city with a combination of a vibrant past, present day hospitality and always the water. In so few places are water, culture, history and nature so intertwined. You will Live the history in Veere . You will visit from the outside the city hall, the chapel and the great church.
Visit the Delta Expo. The southwest of the Netherlands is one region that has suffered over the centuries of continuous changes due to the influence of the sea and human intervention. For several years many projects have been developed to secure the from floods. The catastrophic floods of 1953 were responsible for the acceleration of the Delta Plan, it is perhaps the biggest hydraulic engineering project ever executed in the world. At Delta-Expo we will be witnesses of this work.

3-course lunch.
English guided tour of livestock breeding oysters. Oysters from Yerseke are bargained almost all year. The oyster basin in Yerseke dates from 1870. You will also visit the port of the fishermen village Yerske.
Crossing the Zeeland bridge. Completed in 1965, this bridge connects Zierikzee to the former island of Noord-Beveland. Impressive achievement, the bridge extends over 5022 m. its 50 arches.

Day 3

City tour of Rotterdam, a very modern city with a lot of culture. We will see the cityhall, the Coolsingel(shopping street) and the cubicalhouses. The new ‘Markethall’ is certainly worth a visit! There is also a historical part of town called Delfshaven built in a typical Dutch style. Rotterdam is also the largest harbor of Europe.
Is a cruise in the port of Rotterdam with the company Spido. Tour more than an hour by boat that will take you in the middle of the feverish activity that exists along the docks of Rotterdam. You will understand what it means to international trade. You will not fail to be impressed by the large construction sites, docks and silos that you can see so close! The port of Rotterdam is home to over 30,000 ocean-going vessels and extends over 30 km inland.
Lunch
Delft Blue is the famous porcelain. We visit one of the potteries, where the art of painting the vases and plates, the baking process is shown. There are many historical pieces of Delft Blue art on show and there is a shop.
Visit to Delft, one of the most charming towns in Holland. The market place, the ‘new’ Church and the wonderful historical town hall in combination with narrow canals, and little shopping streets make it really special.

Day 4

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meeting with the guide and departure to Gouda.
Whoever says Gouda not only thinks immediately of cheese, pipes, treacle waffles and earthenware, but also of stained glass windows, a picturesque town hall and romantic canals. Gouda is a real old Dutch town with a virtually intact town centre. Gouda has more than 300 monuments. In this beautifull city we will see the Saint Johns Churhs (exterior) world famous for his serie of stained glass windows.
The stroopwafel is a specialty native of Gouda, where they were invented in 1784, when a baker in the city would have collected crumbs and remnants of spices in order to drown in a caramel syrup, then stuff them into a waffle cut in half. A renowned pastry chef will show you this and you’ll stroopwafel manufacturing. Of course tasting will be included.
